FBCD regularly contributes to the following global missions organizations:
Heifer International
Each year during the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons, we take up a collection for Heifer International. This international organization works with communities to strengthen local economies in order to empower and improve the livelihoods of vulnerable small-scale farmers and aims to provide sustainable
solutions to world hunger and poverty.
We participate because this is a meaningful way to give back. Through Heifer International, FBCD raises money to
donate livestock, such as goats or chickens or geese, to a needy family somewhere in the world.

The American Baptist Churches of Massachusetts (TABCOM)
As a member of TABCOM, we make contributions through TABCOM to ministries that are local to Massachusetts as well as within the country and worldwide, in cases of disaster aid and various other causes.
American Baptist Churches of USA (ABC-USA)
Annual offerings through the American Baptist Churches USA which FBCD supports are:
- America For Christ: This annual offering supports American Baptist home missions and ministry across the United States and Puerto Rico for marginalized children, disaster response, prisoner re-entry and aftercare, immigration and refugee resettlement, public witness and advocacy, and much more. - One Great Hour of Sharing: The goal of One Great Hour of Sharing is to aid those around the world who suffer the effects of disaster, conflict, poverty or severe economic hardship. Donations are typically collected between May and June of each year in response to worldwide disaster relief and development. Read more here: http://abc-oghs.org/.
